About
"As someone who has always enjoyed a wide range of fitness activities, I know that there is no one size fits all approach to personal training." With a varied background of sports and gym training, I love to help others achieve their fitness goals or improve their general health.
I first got into gym training through fitness classes about 10 years ago, and then progressed to learning more equipment and exercises in the gym. Throughout my life I have enjoyed being active. Initially through a love of outdoor exercise and water sports, then in the last decade realising a love for functional fitness and gym-based exercise. For many years I held a secret desire to work in the fitness industry, then Covid pandemic pushed me to re-evaluate my life, and pursue a career change to become a fitness coach and personal trainer. I very quickly realised that I love working as a trainer; inspiring others to pursue long term healthy habits and sharing knowledge is what I’m about!
While I understand that some people want to focus on body image such as building muscle and conditioning, I also believe in supporting my clients to feel the internal benefit of healthy lifestyle choices, while challenging themselves to surpass their fitness goals.
